Nansi Bielanski Gallup
David C. Gallup

Nansi Bielanski Gallup & David C. Gallup are fine artists living in Southern California.  Inspired by their worldwide scuba dives, their art depicts motion, confusion, figures, sea creatures and brightly colored reef life.  Their style (called Experientialism) is based on some of the conceptually intriguing aspects of Cubism fused with Abstraction, Pop, Impressionism and Realism.

While they each paint individually, many of their canvases are collaborations, working in turns or simultaneously on the same canvas toward expressing their shared vision.

Nansi Bielanski Gallup began her artistic career expressing her love of figurative work in oil and bronze and brings strong figurative elements to her canvases.  She holds a Masters of Fine Arts from Loyola Marymount University and has taught art for over a decade.  She was Artist in Residence at the Carnegie Museum of Art and held a solo show there.

David C. Gallup has devoted his life to the study, teaching, and creation of art.  He graduated from Otis/Parsons in 1990 and soon found himself supervising a staff of over thirty artists under
pop art legend, Hiro Yamagata. He was Vice President of the historic California Art Club for over a decade. He has held three solo museum exhibitions, a two-artist museum exhibition with Nansi, and numerous solo gallery exhibitions.

World travelers, they both feel strongly that the fragile ecosystems of the ocean need to be protected and support conservation groups like Wyland’s Ocean Artists Society, Reef Check, Sea Save and Artists for Conservation.
